SnippetThe GREEN area is an overlay showing you the area covered by the Hurtwood.

Instructions

The ZOOM bar on the left will take you in/out for a closer look.

There is only one map type available on this screen. If you would like to see more detail - including a satellite view - you can access it through the Friends of the Hurtwood Member's area.

By clicking on the blue markers, a window will open up showing you the view from nearby.

For Friends of the Hurtwood members there is a more detailed map showing the tracks, footpaths and bridleways with an overlay provided by Ordanance Survey.

It allows you to to plot precise grid references and links and play it back using Google Earth. If you're planning a bike ride, orienteering or simply going for a walk you can check out your trip without even leaving the house.
